  Ah yes, lets blame Jose the examiner for failing your sons or daughters. For Mrs. Dryden, had your daughter actually paid attention to the instructions that I tell every tester, she may have passed her test. I tell the tester, "Parallel parking is the first part of the driving test. If you cannot successfully park the vehicle, you don't get to do the rest of the test. The barrels represent the front and rear bumpers of two cars that you want to park between. If you hit any of the barrels at any time, your test will end immediately because you essentially just hit a parked car. You can touch the curb that is on my side with your tires, you just can't slam into it with excessive force, make the car ride up or completely over it. If you do, again, your test will end immediately. You will have a total of 6 moves, 3 forward 3 reverse, to complete this. Once you think you have the vehicle successfully parked, place the vehicle back into park and we'll see where you are but when it's all said and done, your driver side tires cannot touch or be to the left of the yellow line that is on your side. Also, once you put the vehicle back into park, if you had any remaining moves out of your 6 original, you automatically lost them so be sure of your positioning before you put it into park. Any questions?" So you see, your daughter was well aware of how many moves she had in order to pass, but she tried to park in two moves and fell short. Her driver side rear tire was completely over the yellow line, not just a little as you claim so when I told her that, she asked, "Okay, so try again?" I told her "No, you're test is done". Your vision was blocked by the rather large UPS truck that was making a delivery at the time, so unless you're related to Superman, your claim of watching and seeing everything was fine is also incorrect. On average, I test 26 people a day. I take the time to explain to the tester when he or she passes or fails in the presence of their parents what they did to fail or may need improving even if they passed. I'm sorry if I don't have the time however to explain parking to your daughter who did not listen to me to begin with. As well as for trying to explain to you as you yelled at me that she should have more than just one attempt because she practiced really hard. Trust me, your sense of entitlement world and the real world are NOT one in the same. Like I say to everyone, one attempt in six moves.

  Better to take a test in another dmv. I know they are busy, but it should not be the reason for them to be rude to people. I don't want to give them even one star.
